The ICC World T20 2009 matches will be held between June 05, 2009 and June 21, 2009. It will be the second ICC World T20 match, the inaugural tournament being held at South Africa in the year 2007.
There are altogether six groups in ICC World T20 2009, namely, Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D, Group E and Group F. Each of the four participating groups, namely Groups A, B, C and D, have three countries. The participating countries in Groups E and F will be announced later since the names can be declared only after the first round of matches are over.
